How to play the 2026 Restaurant Champion Bracket
This year, international soccer is coming to the Bay Area! To celebrate and to build excitement for the world’s most popular event, Alameda Restaurant Week is showcasing the global cuisines on the Island and encouraging everyone to get in on the spirit of competition with a Restaurant Champion Bracket!
Dine Out at ARW 2026
Visit as many participating restaurants as you can during the 10 days of Alameda Restaurant Week. The full list of participating businesses can be found on the website home page.
Save Your Receipt
Save your receipts to track your visits.
A minimum of four restaurants is required to rank them.
Rank Your Favorites
At the end of your visits, rank the restaurants you tried.

Semi-Finals
Select your Top Four favorite restaurants and write them on your bracket.
Move to the Finals
Choose your two Finalists from your Top Four.
Champion!
Choose your Champion — your all-time favorite restaurant.
Send it in to win!
Submit your bracket and receipts (for your Top Four restaurants) online by scanning the QR code or visiting alamedarestaurantweek.com
Submitting your bracket will enter you into the Grand Giveaway!
Crown the Champion
Restaurants earn points based on how diners rank them in their brackets. The restaurant with the most points will be crowned the Alameda Restaurant Champion.
Point System for Champions
Restaurants earn points based on how diners place them in their brackets. Points are awarded as follows:
- Champion selection — 10 points
- Finalist — 7 points
- Final Four — 5 points
The restaurant with the most points at the end of Restaurant Week will be crowned the Alameda Restaurant Champion.
More Ways to Win
Submit Your Photo
Take a photo wearing an Oakland Roots Jersey or your favorite soccer team jersey in front of or inside a participating Alameda restaurant. Be entered into a giveaway for Oakland Roots game tickets!
Submit Your Receipt
Submit a receipt from any participating restaurant to receive one giveaway entry.
More receipts = more chances to win.
